Take a look at the 335 but the driver and passenger is still alive in critical condition.

Hmm, yeah, when I'm driving I always feel like my car can take on a train. What a moron!!!

Then again maybe the train jumped out in front of him?

dude, two people are in critical condition. not trying to justify anybody's apparant action here, but don't you think you could've framed your opinion in a less harsh/demeaning way?

Look, not trying to be too apathetic here. I feel bad for the passenger and his family. He had nothing to do with the accident. That said, the driver is the same type of person who showers with a hair dryer, it's actually Darwinian.

The passengers were incredibly LUCKY, period. No car on this planet is designed with even the slightest expectation of passengers surviving such an impact.

I've worked on freight trains for a short period and I have next to NO sympathy for those fools. Anyone who ignores flashing lights, lowering gates, and the ear splitting sound of a locomotive horn when approaching a railroad crossing is a complete jackass - the darwin rule applies.

It may be bad for the two injured passengers, but its also pretty bad for the engineer and conductor sitting in the locomotive who know that they can't stop the train in time.

This is the Internet and we now live in a world devoid of emotion or morality. Therefore, I am not surprised in the least bit at any comments I read online anymore.

I have to agree but nevertheless i think everyone deserves a second chance at life, despite how big of a stupidity they've committed.

No need for "second chances" - you can't fix stupid. The reason I have never been hit by a train is the same as the reason I have never shot myself - I don't put myself in that position. Can you beat the train? Maybe, but is it worth the try?
