What about the passenger?

That is a different subject, he gets all the sympathy in the world. He was probably just on his way to work when the idiot giving him a lift decided to play chicken

I hope you never make a mistake, John. I'm not defending the driver's actions, but most of us have done stupid things and were lucky enough to have a better outcome.

Thing is not the act of doing something stupid: none of us are immune. However, there are limits, I do not shower with hairdryers or radios, I do not point guns at myself (no matter how many times someone tells me it's not loaded), and I do not race trains - because these things will KILL you. I also do not go out in electrical storms carrying a 10 ft metal pole.

This driver was an especially despicable type of moron, because he also nearly killed at least one other person by his own stupidity. It's okay to be stupid, but please have the courtesy to only kill yourself.

It's only the conjecture of some slack-jawed loiterers he was racing the train. Maybe the passenger said, "Hey, check out that chick!" or he swatted at a bee in his car and took his eyes off the road or jerked the steering wheel?

...and you never heard of regret? You cannot regret something if you don't get a second chance...

Look, not trying to be too apathetic here. I feel bad for the passenger and his family. He had nothing to do with the accident. That said, the driver is the same type of person who showers with a hair dryer, it's actually Darwinian.
I agree, I feel for the passengers.

The driver was probably another 335i driving douchebag that thinks his car is the fastest thing on 4 wheels.
