FYI- I think on the multiple threads with this picture, we came to the conclusion that is was possibly a computer generated image based on what may be a real concept that was never put into production. I think if this was at some point a real concept, the image below depicts a much more believable version of the one picture in the OPs post:

I think BMW will eventually not be able to help it and theyll produce an R8 competitor, the M1 will come back and i wont be too disappointed if it looks like that ^^ R8-M3 photoshop child. What do you guys think?
