What transmission ?
Little accelerations depend on gearset and on too things .
From 2 my video from YouTube the 335i makes not less 6s .
I drove it and I felt it was slower than my 545i .
But you are right on the tune: you can chip it very easily .

The funny thing is, I remember back in high school my good friend got a brand new 1997 M3. It had 240 hp and we thought it was the greatest thing on earth.
Now look how far we have come in such little time, its crazy. People saying 300hp is not enough, its a little amusing.

my new 335i stock is way faster then my old 545i.
