Hello All,
I bought 2009 BMW 528I from a dealer in LA 2 months ago. I had a 30 days warranty period.Once I bought that,I was smelling gas badly. i took that to the same dealer , he checked for 1.30 hours and told there is no leakage, I came home happily but I was still smelling the gas. I took to a small dealer near my place and he just took one min to identify that there is a fuel tank leakage which is on left side and we need to replace it which would cost 1500 or 2000 for me now.
What you guys suggest. He showed me the gas leakage strains as well.
How much would the gas tank cost and you suggest me to take to the same dealer and tell this the problem and tell him that he sold a faulty car or take to small local dealer and repair it.
