Default Replacing broken side door rolling sunshade

Hi, im new to this forum. Does anyone know to to replace a broken side door sunshade on 2009 bmw e60?? Anybody. Thanks for the help

Welcome!

Is it the one that moves vertically or the one that moves horizontally...? My vertical one on the passenger rear door is broke (the shade won't retract). Maybe this weekend I'll be able to pop the door trim off. I found this guide on removing the rear door panel: Bimmerfest - BMW Forums - View Single Post - rear main sunshade help wanted

Unfortunatelly is the horizontal one. Bmw wants to charge me almost $500 i rather try to install it myselft. Thanks for the info!!

$500? Good Lord! I'm probably just going to remove mine unless the replacement part is also cheap. I'll never use them.

I did find this on E90Post: Changed my rear side sunshade. Applies to the E90, but may also give you some inspiration.
