Hey guys. I already own a 2007 525 and my brother likes it so much that he just has to have a BMW as well he is just about to purchase a 2006 325 with the sport package he doesnt really want the sport package because from what i have heard you go thru tires rather quickly but he is getting a good deal on it so he doesn't want to pass it up. So what we are going to do is buy a set of OEM 16inch rims and tires that come on non-sport 325I and put those on for most of the year other then the summer months. Does anyone know if these wheels will be plug and play on the 2006 325I sport or do i need spacers or will it mess up the suspension or computer. Thanks in advance for your help.

Better yet take the new tires off sell them and get non run flats with a milage warranty and replacement certificates!

Putting 16's on a sport car it will look weird and handle like crap. or buy a non sport 3 series and put your on wheels and suspension on

I am not following you on how it will look weird or handle like crap every non sport 3 series comes with 16 inch wheels. So it will look and handle just like a non sport 325I. Am i missing something. I am going to put on wheels that come off a 325I non sport. I was told to never put on non run flats on the 2006 3 series because it could caus serious damage to the suspension because the car was designed to have run flats on it. Plus you then have no spare tire.

your adding 1/2 inch of sidewall to a lowered car. Taking off a Z rated tire and going to a H or V is a huge difference. What gets ruined in the suspension if you dont have RFTs? I have never heard of that happening. I do know 3 series are notorius for having the sway bar, thurst arm and control arm bushings wear out. I have my 17insch run flats here if you want em I have em posten in the classifieds
