Can you tow a 3000Lb trailer behind an X5 4.4i ? Right now I have a Chev Avalanche that I am using but it's goiing back off lease in March and I would like to try and replace it with an X5 but I need something I can tow a trailer with.

X5 towing capabilities
Sorry to revive a 4 year old thread, but I'm in a similar situation to the OP where I am interested in replacing an '02 Chevy Trailblazer with a midsize SUV with better gas mileage. I was curious how well the X5 handles the towing load. I believe my camping trailer is about 3500 lbs empty. Anybody have any experiences to share?
