My Ride: 2005 E60 523 executive
20"ASA / Bi-Xenon / Full M-tech / LED Angel Eyes / Matte Black Kidney's / LED Side Markers
HI guys,
I picked up a E60 523 exe a couple of weeks ago, after driving a 2004 745 and a 2003 CLK240...
Since I have enjoyed this forum, and all of your rides, I guess its ok to introduce myself and my ride...
Because of the all the stupid taxes, and high petrol prices a 545 or 550 is way out of budget, so I had to get a lower spec engine...
Anywayz...the way I picked it up at the dealer
Mod list so far
- OEM Mtech kit all round (had it fitted by dealer)
- OEM Bi-xenon retrofit (had it fitted by dealer)
- CF Badges
- LED Angel eyes
- LED side markes
- Matte black kidneys
- 20" ASA Staggered wheels Front 9J 245/35/20 and rear 10J 275/30/20
On the shelf
- Shadowline window trim
- Cobra coils (-30 mm)
- LED license plate lights
- Black M badge for trunk (not sure if to stick it on though...)
Wishlist
- Leather sport seats
- LCI tail lights
- M5 trunk finisher
- M5 BBK
- M5 SMG shifter conversion
And the progress so far...
I had it on the Dyno and it produced al heathy 179 BHP
And wondering where to find some details about this "boost sprinter" of some kind (the thing you connect to the trottle pedal?) Any link to information or vendor would be appreciated!
Although not allowed I refuse to bolt on the license plate to the front
Thanx for looking and your comments
Greetz Peter

you 5series.net. Your car looks great so far. I wouldn't put the M badge on for the same reason that it is not on my 550i Sport -- you don't have a M5.
The mod you are referring to is the sprintbooster. I would go with the Version 2 of this, which is adjustable and can be turned off as well as to different throttle signal amplification settings. Member brabusw209amg sells them. I got mine from someone in Hong Kong that a lot of members have gotten SBs from but I am forgetting his name. It is an excellent mod if you want to reduce the throttle lag delay that afflicts our E60s. Note that it does not increase power but rather, it gives the car a stronger and quicker response to the application of throttle.

Thanx!!
Yeah...I am in doubt for the same reason...Do NOT want to be an M5 wannabee  Although it is not an M5 badge, but just an M emblem to match the bodykit...
And thanx for the tip! I have asked Brabus for his V2 in the vendor topic...just wondering if the SP would do any good on a 523
