Default New E60 Owner in PA

Hello Everyone!

I recently purchased a 2008 535xi from my local BMW dealer. It's a CPO with one year left on the warranty. It has 64K miles and it's in great shape. I was able to give the car a once over, they even let me put it on the lift at the dealership and look under the car, which I thought was pretty generous. I have the service records and carfax report and also confirmed the recalls were done, including the HPFP and battery cable. I noticed the intake manifold gasket was replaced twice (?) and there are several instances of the battery being recharged. I've read about the battery issues on the E60s and must admit I'm a bit concerned since this vehicle will not be driven every day. It'll be used several times a week and on weekends since I have a company car for daily use. My main questions are: 1.) Can anyone think why the intake mainifold gasket would need to be replaced twice? 2.) Are there any other items I should be aware of on this model?

This is my first E60. I previously owned a 2003 E46 330xi and a 2005 E53 X5 4.4i. Both great vehicles! I love the ride of this car and am looking forward to some fun miles ahead!
