My Ride: 520d - M Sport Business Edition. Carbon Black, Creme Dakota leather, Dark Popular trim and 19" M Double spoke styling 172
Hi,
This is my first post, not been a member long but found the information obtained from the site before purchasing my new car invaluable
I picked up my new car this week and very pleased. Its a 520d carbon black M Sport Business edition with creme leather, dark popular inserts and 19" wheels. My previous car was a 335i M Sport Coupe, obvously quite different beasts as regards performance but needed something a bit more practical due to my family and more economical
I have only had the car 3 days but I am very surprised at the performance of the diesel engine, alot better than I expected and by no means a slouch as long as you keep it in the mid torque band, economy wise its brilliant.
These days in the UK you cannot exploit or have fun with a performance car such as the 335i without a very good chance of loosing your licence due to the police and governments insistance in targetting motorists for revenue with more and more speed cameras and radar at unnecesary locations
Please see some pics of my car
