Hello everyone... just wanted to introduce myself and my rides here now that I am a BMW first time owner! Its a 2008 550i with the M sport package. Gotta say, I love it!! Ive always been a GM guy and I wanted to go into the import world. I didnt want to just jump in any import, I wanted something with power and class. You cant find that in rice, so BMW did it for me.
Bought this Space Gray Met. in San Antonio, TX. Very happy with the car and the performance it offers.
Ive already done the Carbon filter delete mod and am waiting for my K&N filter to come in. Will also be going with the RPI scoop soon. Looking into the quad exhaust mod as well, we'll see what happens. Well enough talking and on to the pics.
Heres a pic of it next to my Camaro Project. 97 Z28 30th Anniversary Edition approx 3000 built by Chevrolet.
Motor .040 over = 357CI mild comp cam, long tube headers, 3.73 gears, 2800 stall, under drive pulley, BMR stage 2 handling package, tune by PCM for less.
and last but not least my Tahoe.
04 Z71 Tahoe: 6" RCX lift, 35" Toyo M/T on 18x9" Eagle #163, Custom HP Tune, K&N CAI, Borla Exhaust, LED Tails, LED Roof Lights, HID low/fogs.
Looking forward to entering the BMW world!

Thanks... just ordered the RPI scoop from the guys at Trinity. They suggested I not do the quad exhaust they said it decreased performance according to dyno runs.
They suggested their replacement exhaust with proven power increase.
I'm lookinf for a tune/remap. Suggestions? Any good BMW TX tuners?
Oh and I live in Mcallen by the way lol I bought it in San Antonio. Should've cleared that up. So I'm REALLY south TX.

I have heard you will lose power with a quad. Almost always any thing with a real brand will be better then custom. When I put my quad exhaust on I did not notice any power loss, although I never dynoed it.
Dinan has a few re-maps for your 550 I believe. BRING YOUR CREDIT CARD!
