I have a 545i so power is more than enough for me. With these cars you keep it simple, slap some rims and a mtec kit with some coilovers and call it a day
The Mtech kit looks nice, that's for sure. I'll probably get the ACS front lip (my buddy found me a good paint shop) and let it as it is. I would love to get coilovers, but they are so expensive -- not considering springs/shocks because I want adjustability. I'm considering KW V1 for quality, but am also considering BC Racing and Stance for value.

If you're saving for a M5 then I wouldn't really spend money modding your car. Everything for this car is expensive unfortunately but if you are good at doing things yourself you're ok.

I want to go to one of those bimmer meets downtown, they post it on maxbimmer if you're on there. I'm up to go with other 5 series guys.

If you're trying to save money for a different car, then I wouldn't spend one single penny on modifying the car you have now. There's no sense in doing that if you're going to replace it with something different in the near future. Be 90% happy with the car you have now, and spend the extra money on the car that you'll be 100% satisfied with.

just my $.02. cheers.
