Hi, just a quick hello to all on this forum. I will be picking up my E60, December 2005, 530d M Sport, 19 in wheels, Media Pack, Visibility Pack etc on Monday evening (12 Nov). This is my first 5 Series. I am trading in my 2005 X5, 4.4i Sport. Fuel prices and average of 18 mpg have finally made my decision. I hope to add a Dension Gateway 500 for iPod integration and have DMS "do a number" on the engine. I haven't seen the car yet but I am getting it from a main dealer that is owned by a friend. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations.

I look forwards to feeding back my experiences and asking questions as I personalise the car.

nice to see another memeber from the UK, i too have a 2006 530d, remapped of course, well, the car is fantastic, especilla the extra torque that is available.
