Why do you say that? Looks to be in great shape for a 12-year-old car.

Thank you. It is in good shape. It was owned by the original owner for almost 12 years and has 62k miles on it, but you just never know when you're buying a used vehicle how well they will work out.

Welcome to 5 Series! Congratulations on the purchase. Those are some seriously low miles!

Thanks Pelican; I've bought parts from you all in the past for my C230 Kompressor. Good stuff.

I'm pretty excited about the 545i as I've owned some earlier 3's and an early 528i BITD but this is my first "modern" BMW.

Ha! That's part of my concern, but I'm fairly handy and am used to doing most of my own work on my cars so that doesn't scare me.....too much.

So after a couple days of driving it, I've found that it suffers from a lot of the same issues my old 2005 C230 has: stabilizer bar links need replaced, needs new plugs, new coil packs, etc. Drives very well, but has a slight hesitation when starting so I think the plugs and coils will help that.

The iDrive main menu button is a little sluggish to come back up, so does anyone know any easy fix for that? Already searched and found a bunch of info about changing out the plugs and coils, so I already appreciate this site and the members.

Also, what is the name of the panel under the front of the car that runs from the bumper back?
Mine is all torn up and most of it is missing. Thanks.
