Hi everyone,

Been reading the forum with interest over the last few weeks whilst deciding on buying my first e60. Seems like a good bunch of people here with lots of knowledge to share..so I decided to register and join in the fun properly.

Have bought a great 2004 5.30d which has a couple of little extras on it. As it is the SE model I am looking to upgrade to at least 18'' M-tech alloys and change the steering wheel to a sport.

See ya on the forums.

Welcome, you'll learn a lot here. Every day I discover something new about my car and the 5 Series in general!
Do you know what options you have on your car? Also, is yours a manual or automatic?

The personal plate will hide your car's true age quite well. I find it difficult to tell the new facelifted 5's from the older cars so the general public will have no chance!

Hopefully you'll have many happy years motoring with your 5 but if you do run into a problem someone on the Forum is bound to be able to provide you with some good advice.
