I'm super stoked to own my first ever BMW. I picked up a '09 BMW 530i. Can't argue with that naturally aspirated straight 6!
All in all I'm pretty pleased with the car. However I come from a newer Dodge which had all the modern peripherals built-in. Like Bluetooth audio streaming, USB/SD card slots, rearview camera, big touch screen etc.
So going back to a dated system like the CCC iDrive took quite a bit to readjust. I'm mostly okay with the lack of reverse camera as the sensors are fine for me. But no bluetooth audio or USB ports really got me in a pickle!
I want to know if it's worth upgrading my iDrive or installing a Bimmerfest retrofit or something to get BT music streaming + USB ports? Also what is the best audio system that can be installed into E60? I prefer OEM stuff.

Thanks guys and looking forward to hearing from the community.
to the forum! I'm VERY surprised that your 2009 does not have USB ports or Bluetooth. I thought those became standard for the 5 Series beginning in 2008. Being in Dubai, maybe there were different model options back then.
As for your audio options, this article may be helpful for you. As to Bluetooth streaming, this post discusses the Sure board that I have in my 2007, and it works phenomenally with my phone and I am very pleased with it.
