My Ride: 2008 550i polished stainless exhaust cold air intake
Default Brand used 5 series owner

What’s up everyone? I am new to this forum(all forums for that matter actually). I just purchased 2 -2008 5 series from a local auction. A white 535i that I haven’t even started to think about yet and a black 550i which has become my instant obsession. I already purchased a real carbon fiber wing for the trunk and a body colored one for rear window. New fog lights, grille and nose splitter. All of which are putting the cart before the horse because it won’t even run yet. The tow company used a fork lift to move the vehicle and smashed a “fuel line” directly beneath the drivers side rear door. I say fuel line because a small amount of fuel came out of it upon cranking the car to start it for the first time. The total amount of fuel wasn’t even enough to fill a shot glass, so I assume it’s not a pressure line. There is a light grey nearly white colored line that leads to the rear of the car that it connects to. The broken line is black with a flat disk shaped piece attached to the backside of it. It’s approximately 3/8”. I went to the dealer and they had no idea what it was. So I went to 2 local auto parts stores still no luck. I can’t replace a part if I can’t identify it. I believe it to be a vent hose of some sort but that’s merely a guess. The previous owner stuck some money into the car with intake and polished exhaust (who know what else). I have long been a fan of this body style and longed to put one through its paces. I finally have that chance in my grasp, I just need one of you to help me get across that finish line. If anyone has any ideas I am all ears. Also the white car is now expendable. It was purchased before the black one came across the block. I have no use for both and would prefer the v8 car. Thanks in advance

I wouldn't even replace it. I would cut the ends and put an adapter on it or fuel hose.

The only part I could find was 16136760771 which I think is not the part you're looking for but connects to it. If that is the case that it comes with another part but it's not listed.
