Until BMW bring out a chrome tail pipe, some T-cut and polish will bring the shine out and maintain the new look.
I think I will give it a try next weekend and will post pics if successful

Hope they do eventually do a genuine chrome tail pipe trim

Went into local dealers and noticed the new 320d coupe has a very very similar large oval exhaust as the 520d and also had a chrome trim fitted!!!!! it looked spot on the salesman kindly removed it to try on my 520 but it was just to tight, I reckon the 520d exhaust is 1mm bigger than the trim what a frickin waste

based on this would think they are working on a 520d trim

Take a look at this THREAD.

This guy has a 520d and has a twin chrome pipe on his. Send him a PM and get one for yourself!

Great looking car by the way. How are you finding the Beemer compared to the Jag?

Cheers for the thread

The 520d is far better than the 2.0d X-type Jag especially interior build quality and materials but then it should be as the X is more of a competitor to the 3 series, having testes the S-type would say this is comparible to the 5 series

Still love the Jag styling and hope to get a XJ next but in the meantime loving the 5
