Hey everybody,

What a great forum!? My car is currently in the Atlantic, due to hit NYC on 12/12.? Thanks to the info I received here, I can track my car daily.?

I guess the next level of anal-retentiveness would be to try to GPS the location of the ship (Resolve).? Has anyone tried this?

Maybe I should get back to work now, so I can pay for the car when it arrives.

You might prefer to say 'on' the atlantic. There have been cases of ships sinking, and 'in' the atlantic is way to scary for me.

If it's a Wallenius ship, there was some tracking info that was discussed once. You might try to run a search for shipping and see if you can find that.

If there is a ship's captain out there who owns a 5er and is a contributor to the forum, he may be able to make a few discreet enqueries. Might even get an answer before you get the car.

Now I don't want to rain on your parade, but there has been a few supply ships in the recent past that tipped over loosing their contents on the way to the US. The most recent I can rember was full of Volvo's and BMW's. Hope there was good corrosion protection on those ones. So if there is a delay in yours arriving......

Maybe you better check the weather as well.

Heheh... here ya go!! The infamous Tri-Color

http://www.tricolorsalvage.com/pages/home.asp

I know of 2 people's Bimmer aboard the ship. When I called then and told them the ship sank, they laughed at me silly. It was brutal but looking back... it was kindda funny.

Tri-color delivered on of me prior car to me. It was a nice ship
