Needs to be fast with a good slug of torque
Decent build quality with reliability
Plenty of room ( my girl upcycles furniture which someone, me, has to pick up)
Look cool but understated.
Be frugal with fuel when driven with a light right foot.

Is there really a car that can give all of that??

Yep.. 2005 535d M Sport touring with 118K on it.

Really happy with this car. Not perfect but does a lot and is a lot of car for the money,
