SoCal Caravan Thread to San Luis Obispo Meet
I sent in my 12 year old V1 and used Valentine's upgrade program to get a new one. I am hoping to receive the new V1 by Friday.....but I don't know if it'll get here in time. I "should" have two Panasonic radios that I got 7 or 8 years ago.....they have channels and sub-channels so I assume they would work, but I have to remember where they are first
I think it would be a good idea to exchange cell numbers to be used only if needed (for those who don't have radios or if the radios don't work as expected). We could exchange numbers before leaving.....or we can make a list as suggested above.

crawfish season is coming back soon Rody

Here's confirmation from the CHP.
"Thank you for contacting the CHP. When you use the term "caravan" we
take that to mean a group of cars traveling from the same origin to the
same destination at the same time. With that destination in mind, there
is no limit to the number of vehicles which can participate in this
travel. However, there are no provisions or special rules for these
vehicles."

I think a big group sounds like fun and ultimately is what probably would take place anyway.
