We'll be meeting at 7 and leaving shortly after.
See you there Richard. Hey but isn't encino closer to LA than paramount?

Hey guys,
Im headed to slo tonight, so I wont be joining you on the caravan up.
But, just so you guys know... there is a shortcut from LA to slo... with twisties
It cuts off about 15 miles and takes you through the mountains and back over to the 101 about 60 miles out of slo.
If you're coming up the 101 in Santa Barbara you will come to an exit titled "State st | 154 | Cachuma Lake"
It is just north of the Earl Warren Show grounds where Bimmerfest is held.
If you take that exit, go straight at the stop light, then merge right at the next light, it will take you up through the mountains of SB where you will have a sweet view SB and the ocean. Just continue on the 154 (no right or left turns) and eventually you will end up back on the 101.
Its probably one of the most fun drives I have ever experienced. Trust me, you wont be disappointed if you take it. Plus, it is a short cut after all.
