With the Alpina dealer... do you mean Paulssons Bil?

There are some nice roads leading up to Bj?rehalv?n. Or we could go east through S?der?sen.

I couldn't work out which S?der?sen you were referring to, but punched Bj?rehalv?n into Googlemaps and think I found the right place -- see below

Scandinavia Meet -- Saturday 10th October-route.jpg

This is a 50km route, so could be a nice route towards somewhere for late lunch. Does anyone know of any nice places up around there, e.g. somewhere at the coast?

We would need another route after that, maybe something that takes us a little up north or in land and then eventually looping back towards Copenhagen / Skania?

What do you locals suggest?

That's right, I was referring to Paulssons Bil. I don't really understand all the words but just saw a big Alpina logo, which is why I reffered to them as an Alpina dealer

Can you post up a route, i.e. put a suggestion into Google maps and then post it up?

I was wondering when this post would arrive

hi all
Yesterday it was the BMW Swcheden Club meeting in Helsingborg.
It was really fun.
We har a meeting at Paulssons bil at the start and afte that we had a roadbook on small curvy roads here in Sk?ne with some questions during the road and also some excersies (Se hos good you are at parking (Without the PDC) and lots of fun.
It ended up in ?ngelholm where we had a engineshootout a Ford Sierra)

Here is the movie from the destruction of the engine

Is was prepared with 2 liters of cola :-)

To our meeting the 10 i dont think we should ask Paulssons bil because we allready been here. instead goto Jarls Bilservice wich i mentioned before.

Take care out there.

A few others showed interest, but I think we can plan around the list below. That will make it nice and easy, as well as flexible on the day

Find below the latest details. However, this is based upon inputs that I have collected in this post!!! I do not know the area, so it really needs you locals to suggest a route / lunch venue.
X3MKing -- do you know if we would have lunch at / near Jarls Bilservice or should we drive somewhere like my suggestion below?

ATTENDEE LIST:
(Please add city/country being travelled from)

1. xBMWx - E61 ? Copenhagen
2. narvselius - E61 ? Scania
3. X3MKing - E60 ? Helsingborg
4. Residence ? E60 - Stockholm
5. Hilden - E61 - Ludvika (70% confirmed )
6.

Possible plan for the day:
11:00 : Meet at Jarls Bilservice "Alpina specialist" (Address: Pilshultsv?gen 16, 25450 Helsingborg)
12:30 : Cruise to lunch venue -- Bj?rehalv?n?
13:30 : Lunch -- venue in Bj?rehalv?n?
14:30 : Cruise with stop-offs on route / visit event or location
17:00 : Head somewhere for evening meal and/or cruise back home

Looking forward to it!

(Note: I'll be down in Munich Sat. to Mon. for the Oktoberfest, so for obvious reasons won't be online over the next few days )

A nice but expensive place is Margretetorp. If we take the scenic route to B?stad from Helsingborg and then head back to Margreteorp, we could have lunch around 14.00.

Also, I'll join the Meet if the weather is ok - and not like the current storm we're experiencing.

Hi

Shall we try to se up a route together. i know a bunch of small roads we can drive around Helsingborg B?stad ?ngelholm. just about all small roads in Sk?ne (Been running away from the cops on my motorbike in the past )

i also think we should meet somewhere in Helsingborg first just to meet and have some small chatt before we leave to Jarls as one group.
Without thinking of start/Stop times

1 hour to meet in Helsingborg (We can meet at paulssons bil in Helsingborg) for small chatt (There will allways be someone who is late)

1-1.5 hour at Jarls. (I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they can provide us with)
2-3 hours drive tour on small roads
2 hours lunch and more chat
Then more drive on small roads

a suggestion for the evening is to have dinner at a german (Of corz) Restaurant

Margretetorp is a lunch for about 500sek

If there is someone coming down on friday we might can meet on the evening aswell if you want.

for you who is coming far away. when do you plan to arrive ?

i also will bring my camera gear so we can take some nice pictures for the forum.

^^

That looks like a great plan; the timing / route / locations all fine with me -- thanks!

Assuming we have lunch around 14:00, we're going to have to meet in Helsingborg (Paulssons Bil) at 10:00. Is lunch at 14:00 ok, can someone check? Alternatively we meet at 9am, but not sure if I need an overly early start on the weekend To answer X3MKing's question, we're not that far away, so we will simply work our arrival around what best suites those travelling from further away, i.e. Residence and Hilden.

To help with lunch reservations, we should get the total number of people locked down, so I'll kick that off:

ATTENDEE LIST:

1. xBMWx - E61 ? Copenhagen - 2 persons
2. narvselius - E61 ? Scania
3. X3MKing - E60 ? Helsingborg
4. Residence ? E60 - Stockholm
5. Hilden - E61 - Ludvika (70% confirmed )
