My thoughts exactly. When I was in college and law school, I drove New York City or DC to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, solo and non-stop about 15-20 times. To me a 350 mile day is child's play.

My feeling about this road is similar to my feeling about driving to Vermont to ski: you go to where the best roads/mountains are. There are some good roads such as Bear Mountain within an hour of NYC but nothing that compares to Pa State Route 125, which is only 120 miles west of NYC. So long as we meet near I-78 in NJ at 9am, we will be back in New York by about 6pm that night. I've done the drive twice in the last few months (and am actually taking the day off and taking my wife there tomorrow) and I know the time frames cold.

Yes 8-10 cars would be a perfect size. The second Poconos meet was 14 cars strong and that was a lot for the wild twisties of Snow Hill Road.
Agreed. I did too drive to upstate NY back in the college days (about 300+ miles in 3 hrs) and then went straight to parties afterward. But that's in my younger days. Driving 350 miles for a meet is a serious commitment, I wish I can do that. But family takes the 1st priority from me at the moment. Oh well, I will keep begging my wife to let me go one of these days. Keep it coming and have fun.

Yes when Victor was younger I would not have gone on a long drive. Now, he's always up for it.

I am rejiggering the route this year to add 14 more miles of twisties on a very well known and well-reviewed road called Gold Mine Road: http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/pa_gmr.html

This is going to be sick.
