Who is down for a Long Island meet? Or can guys meet us halfway in Flushing?

sure...i have a great place we can meet and then go for a nice little run... start at Jones beach, West End 2 field parking lot... its still basically empty for another month... then can take a run down the causeway out east , usually not a car on the road from Octtober to May, so some fun can be had...

A short story...in high school I had a Fiat 124 spider and my best friend had a Triumph TR6. One sunny summer day, tops down (...the cars'..
), we were cruising on the parkway on the way to the beach, and my friend decides to make a race out of it. My Fiat had a (small) back seat, so there were 4 of us in the car, and as we approached 120 MPH the girl in the seat behind me dug her nails into my shoulders and screamed something about slowing down...

Any place in Nassau or Suffolk sounds good to me. The farther east the better but Jones Beach is OK.
I am in Virginia this weekend and in Germany the next, but after that I can make it.
