Calton, looks like you got a fan

Gregg, I'm going this Saturday to get everything mapped out and planned. This will be a long ride, so I'm thinking we meet about 10AM around Hibernia and have an early lunch/late Bfast and get going. The ride itself will probably take about 4 hours, so by the time we finish the ride, we'll be pretty hungry - to which I also have found a couple of restaurants in the final point of our ride, but I wanna go there and check them out. After this Saturday, I'll post a new thread and we'll start getting the roll together. If you have any expertise you feel like sharing/contributing, I'll be happy to accept

Unfortunately for my wallet, I tend to practice your last statement way too much. But you only live once.

We should do like a whole EAST COAST MEET in the Blue Ridge at the Tail of the Dragon - that'd be fun and all y'all Florida members can join in too - if you don't mind driving about as long as us to get there

It definitely won't be 18 or 19th - it can only be a Saturday.

I thought that the Bear Mtn Meet was a collaboration between Gregg, C, Ralph and Kerry. It was a great meet.

Did some driving yesterday... well, a LOT of driving - found a few nice roads... well, enough for a few meets...

Let me get to the point: I have a question that I'd like everyone to give me their opinions on: how long (time or mileage) do you think a meet should be? I've spent about 9 hours behind the wheel of my car yesterday and was ready to do another 12, but I'm probably more of an anomaly, so chime in. In the meantime, here's a couple pics from my yesterday's ride:

here's me thinking "this could be done":
