Dave,
Maybe you've talked with someone, or have a connection, but I can't get a room to come up on the Biltmore web site for that weekend. It only wants to sell me a romantic getaway package for $1300 for two nights, which I don't want to do at what is really a very average property. Anybody got a plan or a suggestion?
Too bad you can't get a room in the real Biltmore (although I'm quite sure it would cost more than the $1300 romantic getaway!)

Hope you guys (and gal) have a blast -- wish it was a bit closer for me to attend...

Maybe someone coming from Toronto can pick up along the way . Come on most of us are travelling 6-8 hundred miles to do this.

One B&B list here: http://www.ashevillebba.com/

Also PM miss525i and see if she can help in any way. BTW I am surprised you got that good a rate at this time. One attendee was told $5400 for the 3 nights. They went elsewhere. We three instigators got in early at more reasonable rates. We never thought we would get the numbers we are seeing now.

I was told that there is a Doubletree local and their rates were like 129 bucs.

Check it out.

An email went out to all those that expressed an interest in the Asheville/TOD meet in Oct. If you did not receive it please let me know. We are trying to get a fix on our head count so we can make appropriate reservations. Based on our group size certain facilities might not be appropriate. We will build in some fudge factor but we do need you to respond or indicate that u might not have received the "request for information." We have designed the Fri and Sat drives so that part is done and that info will be passed along to those that continue to indicate they are participating. We do have 11 confirmed at this date. There is no limit so do not worry about that aspect. At least two E60.net board members (other than myself) had expressed intentions to participate but have not responded yet. Do not worry if you our out of town or otherwise cut off from the email world we will not drop u, we just want to try to get better head count for our reservation discussions.

And everyone os welocme to join in, please do - it is going to be a blast

Anyone who would like to join us, "The BMW Dragon Slayers" still have time to check-in and I encourage you consider the run (If you enjoy spirited driving).

BMW650i sent out the information packet to everyone who has supplied him their details and confirmed their attendance. (It's only right). That package contains details on the Friday and Saturday drives, dinners and more.

Headcount is as follows:
645Ci = 5
650i = 5
M6 = 4
M5 = 2
330i = 1
Others = 6

The others are those who say they want to join but have not confirm with BMW650i their details, so we really can't add you to the list. We want to but...Help us help you, get back to MBW650i or cobradav ASAP if u have not already. BMW650i email is in post #11 above. or PM me and I can relay. We are making name tags and more so we do want as many details as possible.
