Hi all,

Nice to hear there's a European meet coming up, it's the first since I joined the forum and got my E60!

I'm gonna try to attend but I may be away on business. I am, however, VERY familiar with the areas surrounding Maastricht and Slenaken. Please let me know if you need any help or tips on hotels, activities, routes, etc.. I'd be glad and proud to be of assistance!

.
The date of the meet has changed from Saturday 27th September to Saturday 18th October.

Those singed up can still make it.
Don't worry about the weather -- we did the 2007 meet at the end of October, so need for winter wheels! As for the weather in generel, well that's any body's guess all year round anyway

Hope to see a few more of you joining us...

Thanks for offering to help -- it would be nice to take more of a back-seat role this time round and just enjoy the day rather than focussing on coordinating everything.

As per my PM, the final part of the route is re-using what andy545 put together for our Oct. 2007 Meet. Check out the last map in this post. In addition, if you hit the link in my signature for the 2007 Meet, you can see photos of the big car park and us sat inside the restaurant -- with the exception of me being there, it was a very civilised and pleasant place

Any other ideas? ...post 'em up!

I keep updating the list in the first post, but forgot to add an updated list here So as requested, here's the latest list for you mate...

The attendee list:

3) Doc Horror -- E63 Coupe
4) MacSid -- E60
5) 530dA -- E39
6) Thyrus -- E90
7) tonymac -- E60

Its coming along just nicely. Some time over the coming days I'll post up some of the updated ideas we have been PMing about.

Was everyone up for the DSC-off t-shirts? You can get them here for $20.
They'll be spot on for when we do the cross-country winding route to Slenaken... especially for Garehaan

I think Garehaan and "Doc Horrors mate" will be attending too. I'll ask them and keep you informed.

What's the plan for the shirts. Order seperately, or order a number for the people who confirmed coming before a certain date? Maybe we can get a discount.
Or we can have a similar shirt made, with own text added (like: BMW European Meet 2008, E60 Forums)
