Dear BMW friends,
I regret to inform you I won't be attending the meeting. I am very sorry since I was looking forward to meet you all, talk to you and share experiences of our precious toys
I am stuck in Barcelona for two more weeks - They have no RFT tires I want here (I checked several dealerships) and had to be ordered (arriving on Tuesday) and I got these problems since we arrived here:
1] Engine power loss (unstable rpm) - unable to highway cruise .. keeps falling down and acts weird
2] Active Steering Faults Again!
3] iDrive dying
4] Squeaking rear (of the car)
+ Oil®ular check and 2,3,4 are nothing compared to No.1 .. I was thinking about coming but it could be tricky because it would be 2.500 Km forth and back and that's too much with the engine getting naughty..
Luckily I found a great BMW Service near Barcelona, very helpful, very quick and the service guy (the only one who spoke English) have been to Czech Republic 2 years ago and said he liked Goulash soup .. More importantly, I can use BMW Warranty which ends this year in October. As soon as they are done I'm also bringing them the tires.. I'm sure the car will be like new.
I am looking to see pics from the meeting and at another, see you in a new E60/61
