Still need to figure out the signature thing EuroCarFan but here's some info on my car: '06 530i SilverGray, sports pkg, premium pkg, navi, sirius, cold weather pkg, rear shade, active steer. No mods....yet. She's pretty much straight stock for now. Too many things on the wish list!

Click on "My Controls" at the top of this page. This will take you to your control panel. On the left column, go under Personal Profile and click on Edit Signature. A box will then pop up and allow you to type in your signature which will be attached to every post. Most of us provide a desc of our ride but you can write whatever.
Under Personal Profile, you can also choose to add a picture for your avatar which will appear under your member name whenever you post.

EuroCarFan PM'd me and let me know about the October 22nd get together.
COUNT ME IN! I'm located in Mountain View. My 530i is scheduled to arrive during the October 18th week. Man I hope it arrives before that Saturday or I'll be one jealous guy pulling up in his 328i to meet you guys that day!
Looks like Merzbow (Nick) has already been contacted. Another guy who would be interested in joining us October 22nd may be 555 (Jonathan), although his 530i is also due to arrive around mid October. I think Jonathan currently has a 525i that he's zipping around in.

Count me in, too. I live in Milpitas, so I'm not too far. I'm undecided on whether or not to get my windows tinted. See you guys there and thanks for the invite.

[/quote]Thanks EuroCarFan. I like the tint. I don't want to put anything too drastic and that looks perfect. I'm sure it looks darker at night. Is that a particular brand of tint? Where did you get your windows done?

The tint is Madico Charcool. There's a special non-metalized type used for cars like ours with navigation. I got it tinted at Extreme Tint and Polish in Santa Clara off of Scotts and Central Expwy. Some of my friends had their cars done there couple years back and have had no problems. They also have 3M tint.
I originally had 20% all around but it looked so dark that I took it back the next day to have them redo it with 35%. Needless to say it was a costly mistake but I'm happy with what I have now.
Oh, it was $250 for all five windows.
