There were several 1600s (2 and 4 door) there at V@V as well as the cabriolet version (2-door) produced by Baur, a German coachbuilder who did many BMW cabriolet in the '60s-'80s including some e36 versions before BMW started building their own.

Weather was perfect and all events were great. Added 2000 miles including the 3180 curves of ToD and many more on the great North Carolina and Tennessee roads. The Cherohala Skyway was magnificent in both the drive and the beauty (came back at barely over the speed limit so I could actually see some of the scenery).

If I have any pics that Richard did not cover (not likely) I'll post them when I get home.

If anybody wants to join us and see what all the excitement is about, set aside some time in October for our next event. Details later.

I was thinking about driving down for the Vintage at the Vineyard CCA Event. It looked like a very cool event. It was just a bit far for driving from NYC. Great pix! I need to attend more BMW CCA events in the NY area.

We had one attending from the NYC area, more for the ToD than the other stuff as he was in a 135i. But several e24s were from your area as well as some great 2002tii and 1600 models. Sometimes we have as many as 3 or 4 from that area for our ToD events. When they can they caravan down and back.
