Nerweezy unintentionally decided to drift a turn(fast and furious style) and VT had a a piece of wood fly up at his car but luckily (or unluckily) it hit his m5 side mirror and cracked the housing. I was just exaggerating a bit about them almost dying.

Dang, I?m so upset I missed this meet.
I woke Saturday morning, got all ready and got in my car and started the engine and "tried" to shift in reverse to back out of my driveway. The dang thing wouldn?t shift! I turned of the engine and turned it back on put my foot on the brake wiggled the steering wheel and I could not shift into reverse! I got out of the car pushed it back and forth thinking the tranny wasn?t in park or something and turned on the car again and no luck again. I also eject the key. The dang key wouldn?t come out also. So I called AAA and got flatbed towed into Center BMW where after a lot of luck found a service advisor who was willing to help. She grabbed a tech and he came out to look at what was going on. Within minutes he had diagnosed the problem as being a faulty transmission lock. I forgot the actual name of the part, but it?s the thing that when you push on the brake, it lets the tranny shift.
So since Saturday, I?ve been riding around in a KIA Hondo not a bad car/suv/station wagon, I don?t know what it is!
Well maybe next time I can meet with you guys.....

one of those turns was wide and i couldnt see john in front of me at that point so i tried to catch up to him and wendell in the front, then all of a sudden that wide turn decides to become a sharp one at the end of it. i dont know if anyone saw the skid marks we were just thankful that there wasnt a car coming in the other direction. but it was an awesome drive anyway haha.
Wendell is a speed demon on the canyons, i was always overreving on the straight away to catch up to him. It was fun, and reminded me of Initial D if anyone here watches anime.

he said he's more confident when he's in the front. was an awesome drive, and he lead us all very well. thanks again wendell
I believe my explanation was: "I didn't want to look like chicken _ _ _ _, because I was told I was too slow at one of the very first Meets! But, hey, after doing that route 3 different times, in different directions, I knew what was coming up...and where to avoid the dippy-do dips that made some of you rub!.

Yo Nolan
That morning my car DID NOT start (or even turnover), when I turned the key. I had already called Eric to give him the route to pass it on. BMW Assist came...jump started me, got it started but Active Steering is not working...drove the whole drive with Active Steering off...making the drive more exciting/scary! Serveral people tried to help me re-initiate...but to no avail. I have to take it in to New Century...SA indicated there was a tool that required the re-initializations. Hope you make the next meet.
