I'm planning on going and will make final decision at vauxhall. Must be 5+ cars for me to go. ZOtherwise, I have business in Short Hills NJ and will wish Scott all the best as he and his son enjoy the day. Wish I had my kid with me.

OK...I need to rant for a moment about this last second no show stuff...This is unacceptable and quite unfair for those that organize these meet-ups. Cell phones are given to allow those that bail out to give a courtesy call. Today was a total disappointment to ME. I woke up at 5:45AM to drive 75 miles from Long Island to NJ to meet up with what I thought would be 5 cars...As a result of congestion cutting through Manhattan, I was even 35 mins late...Rushing and thinking all are waiting, I show up and its Scott and Richard ONLY. These poor guys were delayed by me and stiffed by others. I have a family (2 kids, wife and major responsibilities) that I love spending time with... I leave them for these events because its great to ge together with a bunch of enthusiasts/E60s and go on spirited rides. TODAY, I decided to not go after driving 150 miles round trip, paying $15 in tolls and wasting 4 hours...
I apologize to Scott and Richard for bailing out, but I had a pre-set limit of cars that would have made it interesting enough for me to spend a full day driving...I showed up based on committments made and poor Scott did not even get a courtesy email or phone call.
Now back to reality...It was my choice to go and my choice to leave, independent of others showing or not. The only thing that I place on others is the disrespect and rudeness of not even giving a courtesy "I can't make it" BEFORE the meeting time.
So, now I'm done. I hope those 2 had a great ride and experience (Victor too!).
Scott, I owe you a lunch and hope you forgive my frustration that I just expressed above...Its just not polite when people say one thing and do another (except in emergency situations, of course).
Hope you guys share some stories and pictures!!!
