Update on the park ranger permit situation:
Ok, the park rangers are apparently not very agreeable individuals over there and I'm being told that no matter what we are required to spend hundreds of dollars on permits and insurance in order to take some pictures - WTF?!?!?! I'm planning to go there and discuss this in person with the supervisors to clear up any confusion. And if they say that we still need to pay, I say we flip the script and find another place to take some pics, bc these people are out of their minds to think we would pay 300-400 for taking some stills!!!
