My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
So, as I'm sure most already know, unfortunately the photo shoot at the Floyd Bennet Field did not materialize this past Sunday due to some permit requirement from the Park Rangers Office. I've started the application process for the permit and have set a tentative date for Sept 13th - it will be a Sunday as well. I'm trying to cautiously find out if they might feel inclined to allow us to do some stunts, but that may be a long shot.
The photos are best to be taken at dusk, so we'd meet up at 5pm to make sure we can position the cars and do the final touches in time for the light to be perfect and shoot away.
I'll bring the Canon DSLR with a tripod and a few lenses, and I might convince a few friends who are into photography to bring their toys out too. I won't promise anything, but I might be able to get some model(s) to come out. You're obviously more than welcome to bring your own
Let's get a roster going again and if anyone has any ideas as to how we can make the shoot better - please don't be shy.

So I received an answer from the FBF Park Rangers office regarding the application, but they misunderstood me and thought that we're planning to shoot a proper movie there, or smth. I wrote back explaining that this will only be an amateur shoot, so hopefully, we can get around having to pay the 200+ bucks for the permit and won't have to get commercial liability insurance for a friggin' photo shoot!
