Thanks Ralph.
This meet has the best twisties within one hour of New York City. I loved seeing the grins on everyone's faces.
But they are nothing compared to Pennsylvania State Route 125 which is 15 times more fun. Maybe this year we'll get a better turnout for that. Unbelievable twisties and little traffic or popo.

But, the Pa SR 125 meet is an all day event. It takes 2 1/2 hours to drive from NYC to the road. The drive itself once there is about an hour up, then lunch then an hour back. Then 2 1/2 hours on the highway back to NYC. When we did it last summer, 5 or 6 members showed (due to the big time commitment). But, to a member, they all said it was, by far and way, the most amazing twisty road than they'd ever driven on within a day's drive from NYC.
The Poconos meet, the highlight of which is Snow Hill Road, is most of (but not an entire) day. It is an amazing route as well and finishes on the same twisty roads we drove today.
I intend to do both meets this summer. Look for a Pa SR 125 meet thread real soon.

Wow, for you, the SR125 meet would probably mean driving something like 700 miles in a day given that you are coming from RI. You might want a hotel before heading back to RI. The Poconos meet is less distance for you. Both are big time and miles commitments which is why they have never drawn more than about 15 cars. I love these meets because the best roads on them arew far away from civilization and the many impediments that civilization puts in the way of the best driving.

Yes, PA SR 125 is in a very very rural part of central eastern Pa. It is a totally different experience running the twisties so far away from civilization. And it is much much more fun because you get to concentrate more on the road and driving it. It is definitely worth the time investment. Gregg it's time to bring your next generation to this one. Makes for a great bonding experience. My dad took me on these kinds of runs all the time when I was a kid. Sadly, he passed away when I was 17 but I still have my memories of the incredible times we spent together when I was a kid bombing around the back roads together in our BMW 2002.

The complete playlist
I will eventually have the videos replaced with the proper labels and better quality - was trying to get them up quickly.
Enjoy
