Mass. dominates football? Um, since when? See my avatar (or Rudy's) - The Steelers are defending SB champs, and we've got 6 of them. That's domination.
I'm comparing to NY. Also, remember that Mass. has only had a contender since the Krafts bought the team. The other bozo owners prior to the Krafts were only interested in the money aspect. Bob Kraft bought the team because he was a real fan who was tired of seeing his team thrashed around and I think that as long as the Krafts own the team they will win at least a couple of Super bowls every decade.

That is quite possible, and also a reason NOT to be such a Yankee hater. Kraft and Steinbrenner are the same type of "win no matter what" owners, which is exactly the kind of owner ALL teams would love to have. Many of my friends here in LA are Dodgers fans, they would love to have an owner like "The Boss", instead they have a guy who was broke when he bought the team and despite getting so close to a World Series and going through a divorce he chooses to pocket the profits instead of investing in the few pieces left that could win them a title.

Hockey is also not a real sport: It's a combination "ice dancing/soccer-on-ice" game.
I'm sure the Canadians as well as many die-hard hockey fans in the U.S. would take exception to your statement.

Or maybe you're just upset that a Mass. hockey team hasn't won the Stanly Cup in almost FORTY years?

I guess you must live here to understand: Mass. resident = Yankees hater. NY resident = All teams hater.
Once I was at a basketball game in Boston (in winter) and people started to chant "Yankees suck" spontaneously. That was hilarious...... Seriously though, baseball is sooooooo boring. I have it somewhere between curling and bowling in my list of games to care about.

I said Congratulations and I meant it.

Then gents, why don't you lace up some skates and try it - you still may not be interested (probably because you'll spend the entire game getting knocked on your ass), but I GUARANTEE you'll think of it as a real sport

Does anyone else wonder how Jimmy Rollins feels right about now? He did say "Phillies in 5, and if we're NICE 6"

No, I don't want to do lace up because I feel if Brian Boitano and Kristi Yamaguchi can do that, I certainly don't want to do that.
