I would like to see some of the game's statistics, for example, what did the Dutch team kick the most?
a - the ball
b - the Spanish team

That was a bit of a disappointment seeing them take that (IMHO) overly aggressive approach, but I assume it was the only way they felt they could disrupt the Spanish game, after seeing the Spanish run circles around the Germans.

It's a shame the Netherlands resorted to the tactics they did. If the referee had given all the cards he could have given, the Netherlands could easily have been down to 8 men. Webb didn't blow any of the calls he made other than him being lenient when he could have given a card. Spain deserved the win. I'd have liked to have seen the Netherlands take the trophy as they've been there three times without success but Spain were worthy winners. Not a classic game, the finals rarely are, but it could have been a classic if the Netherlands had stayed true to the football that got them there.

Spain rightfully at 1 and although I personnly don't feel they should be #2, the Netherlands (they did beat Brazil - but really the wrong team for Brazil)

Can't really argue with Spain being number 1; European and World Champions. That's quite good
