When I saw it first I immediately associated it with Winnie the Pooh or Pooh Bear and I just laughed at the play on words. Having a poo poo. Plus the fact that it was waving back at us. If the association was not made within the first instant, the effect of the joke was probably lost and just looked like a picture without meaning. In this instance I can see whay some people thought it was pointless.
