I had a Google Andriod G1. All I can say it is no where close to the iphone. After 4 months of ownership I had sold it and picked up another iphone. The whole open source thing isn't all its cracked up to be. The app store was a joke. But I was an early adopter, so things could have changed.
I'm holding out hope for the Pre. Mainly, that by the time it pops up on Verizon (end of 09) that it's polished and rockin'.
