Calton turned me on to this guy. I called him to discuss and he was booked thru February. Didnt really bother me too much because you need 100 hours on the set before he can touch it anyway but I am very much looking forward to this calibration. To be honest, Im not that much of a believer as I cant see it getting any better so Im hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

It's $$$ well spent; you will be surprised the difference a professional calibration makes.

There is a couple of inches all around for airspace, enough to cool it. My original design did not include a fireplace mantel, put had to add it due the heat coming off the fireplace. Now when the fireplace is on the bottom of the mantel is super hot (don't worry, it meets code) and the top of the mantel is cool and the screen protected from the heat. Plus the mantel directs the warm air out to the seating area.

I built in the surround speakers in the ceiling as well for a clean look.
