you guys will be surprised what people eat in asia,
rabits, snake, dog, tarantula, crickets, grasshopper, goat, alligator, bear claw, eel, snails
i;ll post more when i think of more, and yes, i've tried them all...

It's supposed to be nasty and smelly - and preferably eaten whilst wearing a hair shirt.
I can give you a tip for the next time you try it. Pour a dram (spirit measure) of a good, dark, peaty malt whisky over the Haggis before eating it. It can stand a whisky "Dressing" because it is nice and peppery.
The worst thing I've eaten? You really do not want to know...

I've had some Kangaroo meat while I was in Australia. Quite good actually, just dont get it cooked more than medium, otherwise its shoe leather.
