Yer right again, Rudy. My son kicked it a couple of times while we were in Denver with me in the passenger seat -- a pinning experience.

a 2003 MB E500..... went to the shop ten times in ten and a half months with electrical, chassis, and brake problems. not to mention that the dealership could never correct/remedy issues the first time. worst ownership experience I've ever had....

fortunately, other than an iDrive software update and fuel hose clamp recall, my '04 545 is perfect thus far.

drove from Huntsville, AL to New Braunfels, TX this weekend.... the best driving experience in the world.

[quote name='alohalc' date='Oct 24 2004, 03:39 AM']530e60nl, that was a very nasty crash :'(.? i'm serious, what were you thinking at that moment?? your family, your wife ?

To be honest I didn't think a lot (not my wife, family or anything).. The only thing I can remember that I was very very surprised initially and then started to react to the situation by countersteering my car. Last thing I can remember is the grey container of the truck coming at me and then nothing.....

I woke up and there was an fireman sitting next to me and I asked him what had happened because I did not know where I was.. Next thing I was me trying to get out of the car and the fireman telling me not to try because I was really stuck in the wreckage.. So I picked up hot pieces that were laying between and on my legs and threw them over the door so I wouldn't burn myself...

that's it basically..

i thought you were like those people in movies. at that moment, you see angels, jesus, white bright lights, and some other strange things . anyway, i'm sure you scared the hell out of your wife, family, and friends :'(. good thing you are all ok now .
