Saw this unmarked police car stop someone. What could be more inconspicuous, bland and anonymous than an E36

Bizarre way to park:

My wife and I loved your visit to the old BMW Museum in 2003. The new one looks so much bigger. I guess we'll have to return there one day.

The "new one" isn't so much a museum, it's more like a statement. A celebration of all things BMW, a place to collect your car if you're doing the car-collection+factory visit experience, an (apparently) fantastic restaurant, a great piece of modern architecture, a place to see a dozen or so new cars, and a few tech exhibits. The old museum is still there across the road, which if you didn't know was old, you might never notice. I think they might have renovated it.

Love the pics, thanks for posting them up. I now REALLY wish we were not rescheduling the European Meet and I could go there already in April But hopefully we'll be meeting up there in June. Are you going to be joining us this time round -- sounds like you are our resident E60.NET Munich expert now.... the knowledge on high-speed runs and unmarked police cars could be very useful!

I also get the feeling you really love the city. A close mate of mine from university times lives there and (when I lived near Frankfurt) I used to visit him / the city regularly... especially around October ...and I just love the place. I would move there straight away. Enjoy...

Don't think I'd call myself a Munich expert. I live near enough that I can visit anytime but I usually only go about once a month. It might just be my favourite city in the world and I've visited a hell of a lot. No idea if I can make the meet in June - too far away for now. I'll know closer to the time.
