Red VW Beetle: CHIGGER
Mini Cooper: UK SUV

Here's mine....my intials are ARS...not very creative, but I had to pick something when I got the Barber tags, so I figured these was as good as anything:

Maybe it's not common knowledge...but a slang term for a chigger is "red bug". So having a tag that says CHIGGER on a red "bug" is the perfect tag. We all know what a chigger is...right...those VERY annoying little red bugs (hence the slang term) that get on you when you go into grass/bushes/wooded areas....AVOID THEM....
All I'm saying is that plates have been pulled for lesser reasons. A while ago in a highly publicised case, a husband and wife got their plate pulled by the DMV because it offended someone who then complained to a larger group that in turn used a legal threat to have the DMV pull the tag. Apparently, if your initials are RAP and your wife's is JAP and your plates read RAPNJAP...that's cause for a revocation letter.
Now a chigger mite is a red bug that's irritating as hell but could it be construed in another manner? $10 says the nice retarded lady at the DMV thinks so.
