I have Nashville as part of my itenary...does anyone know if it's really worth the
visit or knows there is something interesting to see there?.... or should we
skip it...hmmm...

I believe there is an Opryland, a country theme park.. last time i went i was in middle school.. it was fun then ... dunno how it'd be for you.. other than that.. i dont remember going to Nashville for anything.... here's the visitor's guide tho...

oh yeah..i dont know if u're an elvis fan..but Graceland is in Memphis.....

unless someone has any places for nashville....i'd suggest dropping nashville... and extending the atlanta leg to include Savannah, GA to get a feel of the "old southern country" vibe...

Andy 545 That's an interesting group of cities. You should be able to find a fair amount to do in Houston,Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans and Pensacola. I would spend the longest amount of time there. Nashville and Memphis a little less. Little rock and especially Baton rouge have little value and may be worth a night in a good hotel.

gmartin - thanks for that, I think that's the consensus with the other guys, probably
Memphis will be a 2 night stay and Nashville a nice dinner and overnighter on the way to Atlanta.
