Ouzo, Metaxa, Feta, Dolmades, Tyropitas, Spanakopita?
yes to everything...I made it a point to only eat local foods....but I did also go to Goody's and Everest for a quick bite

I brought back a few bottles of Ouzo and a some bottles of an alcohol from Crete (I can't recall the name right now but it was strong)

Busta, raki or tsikoudia

On your next trip you'll visit Athens, otherwise I'll remove you from my friends list

yes and yes! and lots of them now I need to find a quality Greek restaurant ..here locally
The Aegean in Laguna Beach, Sophia's in Placentia, Papadakis Taverna, San Pedro, George's Greek Deli, downtown Long Beach and Belmont shore, and a casual place, Athen's West, Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. One more, if you are ever heading up north on the 101, The Greek at the Harbor in Ventura has great food and seating outside with a view of the harbor.
