And, BTW, a SPECIAL THANKS to the BMW driver training!

To stop a car that is doing 50 Km/h it usually takes about 25m. I stopped my 6t vehicle in 15m.

Andre those ... were shocking, Ria and Ats wishes you best at least get better when we meet in Sept

also happy for MB saving you, however I always think of that as a luxury car co and they are not reliable, but the tow trucks are, so may be they should produce S klasse tow trucks then

ice,

glad you're ok, and the other driver too.

what caused you to pass out - was it shock or a blow to the head? just wondering.

The shock.
I only got a couple bruises (chest and knees) and felt a bit dizzy. The first ambulance appeared on the crashsite and they started treating the driver of the Mazda, then the second ambulance appeared on crashsite and I started to walk over to them, shakin' allready, and once they didn't paid any attention and went to the Mazda too I realized there must have been someone in the passenger seat of that Mazda... With realizing that, I collapsed.
It's just the shock that caused all the trouble for me, but due to extremely well trained EMS and ER personell I was released from ER after only 3 hours.
I know I am not the guilty part, but knowing you just crashed with 50 Km/h into the side of another car, and there's someone in the passenegr seat, this is so bad I couldn't sleep the entire night, just because whenever I closed my eyes I saw the accident happening again. This stopped yesterday, I now only see it a couple times at night and wake up. I am curios what the police will investigate without a witness... We'll see... I am just glad nobody got killed.

Just want to thank all those people that work in ER's and EMS to help others.

Friday late evening, 11:49 pm, I was in a severe crash with my tow truck and for the first time in my life (and hopefully the last) I was taken to the ER right from crash site with an ambulance.
The way those EMS people treat you is extremely professional and you really feel much better as soon as they arrive at the scene.
It was also amazing to notice that it took the three ambulances, the fire truck and the police 3-5 minutes to arrive at the crash site.

And thanks to MB for building this truck that saved me from ANY severe injury! Even without airbags!

I am BTW stunned that the Mazda 6 is build so strong to allow a passenger to survive this kind of accident. When I?ve learned that the car had a passenger in the passenger seat I feared he is dead, but survived, hospitalized though.
Oh man. Glad you are healthy and dandy.
