Maybe the price you negotiated wasn't going to yield them any profit since you were doing the clunker program as well. I'm not saying this is a reason to treat a customer like this but you never know.

That's honestly probably why. I've had people haggling with me being a complete jerk about the customer service I'm providing and not wanting me to make money. It's really a two-way street.
